Alisha McGilp

Alisha McGilp assumed the role of Principal in 2021 after 17 years of service, following the tradition set by her father, Ian, and grandfather, Robert, before her.

With more than 20 years’ industry experience, Alisha has been a television set designer for the Nine Network (GTV9) and led designs for large scale public and private corporate events. She holds a Bachelor of Interior and Exhibition Design (hons) from the National School of Design at Swinburne University and has been a member of the Design Institute of Australia for more than a decade.

A generosity of spirit underpins Alisha’s approach to design service. She gives back to the profession on a regular basis, having mentored interior design students at RMIT and the Mercer School of Design for more than 15 years. Alisha also contributed as an admissions panel member for the Bachelor of Interior Design at her alma mater, Swinburne University.
